The Missouri State University College of Education and Department of Mathematics are offering two fantastic summer programs for high school students interested in teaching: Bears Teach: Open to all students in grades 9-11, this program provides an introduction to the exciting world of education. Young Mathematics Teacher Academy: Designed for students with a strong passion for math, this program explores the rewarding career of teaching mathematics. Program Details: Dates: June 2nd - 6th Experience: Immersive week on the Missouri State University campus, including: Living in the residence halls Engaging in hands-on educational activities Cost: FREE for students (transportation costs not included) Eligibility: All high school students from rural, suburban, and urban districts are welcome.
