Blood Drive

Hosted with WACC Nursing Classroom
205 S Ridgeview Dr.
The last drive we had was interrupted and cancelled due to electricity issues on south side of town. Please consider helping! We only have 11 sign ups right now so we NEED YOUR HELP!
Every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood. It is essential for surgeries, cancer treatment, chronic illnesses, and traumatic injuries. Whether a patient receives whole blood, red cells, platelets or plasma, this lifesaving care starts with one person making a generous donation.
Please consider donating!! Your donation can help save 3 lives AND help build a scholarship. Click the link below to schedule your appointment.

There will be NO SCHOOL TUESDAY, Jan 7th due to the road conditions.

School resumes Tuesday Jan 7th. With the possible weather, please read the email update from our superintendent Dr. Ritter. Stay warm, stay safe and stay in touch.

November is National Runaway Prevention Month. The annual campaign is to shine light on the issues facing runaway and homeless youth and educate the public about how they can help end youth homelessness. Please consider choosing Gateway to earn for when purchasing to help!
We’re excited to introduce RaiseRight—an easy way to support the Foundation while you shop for gifts for family, friends, or employees. Here’s how it works:
Visit RaiseRight Online: Simply go to the RaiseRight website and select from a variety of stores and restaurants. https://www.raiseright.com/enroll/CDGLTVQPNHYF
Purchase a Gift Card: Buy a gift card for the store where you plan to do your shopping. RaiseRight offers gift cards for countless retailers, from popular local stores to national brands.
Shop and Support: Use your gift card to purchase items as you normally would, and a percentage of your purchase will go directly to support Warrensburg Schools Foundation—at no added expense to you!
This is a wonderful opportunity to give back to the community without any extra cost, while getting a head start on holiday shopping. Every purchase helps the Foundation fund programs, grants, and opportunities that enhance experiences for students and staff members in Warrensburg schools.
Thank you for considering this easy way to make a positive impact. If you have any questions or need assistance with RaiseRight, please feel free to reach out. Together, we can make this holiday season brighter for our community and our schools!

If you are graduating and might be applying for college, trade school or a technical school, please consider filling out the FAFSA now! If you need assistance or have questions please talk with your Gateway team. Here is the link: https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa

Stop by the south Ag lot tomorrow to pick up a FREE MEAL from 11:30-1:00

If you have time today, stop by the Reese Education Center Building located at 301 W. Market at 1pm to celebrate our 4 goal getters! Each of these students have pushed passed their past, to build a better present and work towards their fantastic future! They have completed their requirements and will be graduating this December 12th. Come see them off!

We introduce another goal getter! Our Briannalyn has pushed herself to reach graduation earlier than expected given her tenacity completing online courses ahead of schedule! She also volunteered over 60 hours in the school district and the community. Briannalyn was often seen volunteering afterschool at STEAM Fairs assisting elementary students learning to use our Ozobots and Rovers. We are going to miss our "Bana" with her infectious and ever present smile, along with all she brought to our school family, yet we are excited to watch as she continues her journey in life, surely leaving her mark in our world!

Celebrate Ethan's graduation with us! Ethan is a student and person who has added personality and wittiness to our program at Gateway. It didn’t necessarily start that way. He slowly revealed his true self over the course of time, and because of that, we can see how lucky the world around him will be in the future. Ethan has helped the community with our volunteer efforts, and he has been a great puzzle piece in our classrooms as well. His grades have been stellar while with us, and his drive to finish school for HIM is obvious. We couldn’t be more proud of his success now and, certainly, after graduation. Feel free to stop this amazing human and bring up any topic. He’s got an opinion on almost anything, and, trust us, you will leave the conversation with a smile and new thought. Congratulations, Ethan! You worked hard, so enjoy YOUR graduation day!

Please help congratulate our Knob Noster Gateway graduate Adalyn! Addie has been so fun to watch over the past year. She has grown in advocating for herself and working to reach her goals. We are so proud of how far she has come and we have enjoyed every minute of her time with us! We can always count on Addie to meet us with a dose of reality or she will gladly meet our energy with some fun sarcasm :) We know you are going to leave your mark wherever you go from here! Thank you for letting us be part of your journey!

Please help us congratulate our Kermy on getting her goals! Kermy has grown in her self confidence to go out and serve our community throughout her education at Gateway. From countless hours of volunteering to job shadowing at Wired Graphics downtown this semester, she leads the way in bridging our school with our community. Although she is far away from her island home in Guam, Kermy has proven that no matter the miles, she is going to be successful in reaching whatever goals she sets! Kumplementi Kermy!

Why do our students make great volunteers at the animal shelter? Because they have a natural talent for 'pawsitive' connections with these furry pals! 🐶📸❤️ #TigerPride #animalshelter #communitysupprt

Throwback Thursday! Mr. Tischer took some of our students to UCM's Journalism Day a couple of weeks ago. Students toured the news room, listen to a professional journalist, and walk around the Campus. There was such positive feedback, not only from our students but from others about our students!
