Martin Warren Elementary

The 2023 Read-A-Thon sponsored by our Martin Warren PTO was a success!  We used a different format for recording reading minutes and donations this year and it seemed to be popular with our families.  Encouraging our students to read is the ultimate goal of our Read-A-Thon.  This year we are recognizing the top class at each grade level that read the most minutes.  The 3rd Grade top readers are Ms. Allcorn's class, they read a combined 16,717 minutes!  In 4th Grade, Mrs. Mittenburg's class were the leaders with 16,430 minutes read.  And in 5th Grade Dr. Barabas' class read an amazing 17, 792 minutes over the duration of the Read-A-Thon!  Each of these classes will celebrate their success with ice cream parties.  The class who had the most donations for the Read-A-Thon this year is Mrs. K. Smith's 3rd Grade class!  They raised an amazing $1,013.00!  PTO will be bringing in pizza for them to show appreciation for their achievement.  Overall our students raised $3,729.75!  Thank you for helping our PTO and our Martin Warren Family!
