Young Author Conference

Each April, the Young Authors Conference is held at the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg. The YAC showcases the writings of second through sixth-grade students in the West Central Missouri region. Chosen by their teachers, these young authors attend the conference where they meet authors and fellow student writers for a day of learning and celebration of their work. Martin Warren participates each year. Manuscript submissions are generally due to classroom teachers in early January. You can contact Mrs. Helmig or your child's teacher for more information.
